Meditation

Meditation can seem confusing, mysterious, and overwhelming, which is why finding someone who can make it accessible and easily applied to the life you are already living is a great opportunity. My job is helping anyone who suffers with regular worry, anxiety, overwhelm, fear and pain by providing them with skills to be more centered, calm and resilient.

In your sessions, we define your individual needs, lifestyle, sources of stress and discomfort, and then I provide insight and techniques that teach real-life, practical techniques for helping you experience the benefits of being mindful. I show you how these approaches can be applied to the hassles, pressures, and challenges you see every day.

As someone who is physically attuned to the relationship between body sensation, mindfulness, and feeling good, I put all of this together to make cultivating a meditative state something accessible, grounded, and easy to grasp.

Research has shown definite health benefits to meditation, especially in the realm of stress-relief. I have found great value in integrating mindfulness and meditation into my life and my professional practice. The Mayo Clinic recommends meditation for producing a sense of calm, peace and balance that produces benefits in both your emotional well-being and your overall health.

Working one-on-one, developing meditation techniques for the unique needs of individuals, as well as group classes are a pathway to better mental, physical and spiritual health. Call or email me for your free consultation to see how we can work together to create new habits of mindfulness, serenity, and focus. Or, check the class schedule for opportunities to get hooked up with some great, useful information.
